BIOCTANE Engages with Future Scientists at the IES Victoria Kent Institute

On February 13, 2025, Patricia Pizarro represented the BIOCTANE project at IES Victoria Kent in Fuenlabrada (Madrid), where she delivered a series of talks to high school students on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

Her presentation, titled “Investigating to Valorize Waste”, introduced students to the importance of research and innovation in transforming waste into valuable resources. By highlighting the role of scientific inquiry in advancing sustainable solutions, the session aimed to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in science and engineering, particularly in fields related to renewable energy and circular economy.

BIOCTANE is committed to fostering awareness and engagement in sustainability and scientific research, particularly among young people, as part of its broader mission to develop innovative solutions for sustainable aviation fuel.
