Heterogeneous Catalysis & Waste-to-SAF Pathways
The BIOCTANE Training School 2026 brings together researchers, industry experts, and early-career scientists for a two-day intensive programme focused on cutting-edge developments in sustainable fuel production.
Taking place on 28–29 April 2026 at the URJC Móstoles Campus (Salón de Grados, Departamental I building) in Spain, the training school explores the scientific and technological foundations of heterogeneous catalysis and innovative waste-to-SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) pathways.
Participants will gain insights into advanced thermochemical conversion processes, next-generation catalytic materials such as Zeolites 4.0, and the broader transition towards low-carbon transport fuels. The programme combines expert lectures with discussions on emerging research directions.
In addition to the scientific content, the training school provides valuable perspectives on European research funding and digital tools in scientific workflows, alongside opportunities for networking and exchange within the SAF research community.
The event is already fully booked.
