Last week researchers, industry experts, and early-career scientists came together at the BIOCTANE Training School 2026 to exchange knowledge on heterogeneous catalysis and innovative waste-to-SAF pathways.
Over two intensive days at the URJC Móstoles Campus, participants discussed advanced thermochemical conversion routes, next-generation catalytic materials, and the future role of sustainable aviation fuels in the transition towards low-carbon transport.
The programme combined scientific lectures, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities, creating a valuable platform for interdisciplinary exchange across the SAF research community.
A sincere thank you to all speakers, participants, and organisers who contributed to the success of the event and the engaging discussions throughout the training school.
